<=My Farewell Dance=>

Another year again and my last Juniors Seniors Promenade for the High School life, since I am a senior student and about to graduate this year. Though I am sad, but still I became happy at the end. As other said, “Enjoy your teenage life.”

At the start of our JS Prom, I was so bored because we were just sitting at the back and watching those people who were dancing. It was so crowded so others were not able to dance. My first dance was the trainee (CO) from III-Boyle. I was really shocked for I did not expect it. After that, I was just sitting at the back again taking pictures with my classmates. For all I knew, there were only few who danced with me. During the cotillion, while we were dancing, I felt happiness because the audience’s attention was to us. I did not feel nervous because even last year I was already a participant of the cotillion. As the pageant began, we were noisy cheering for our candidates. We did not expect that Miriam Alicar became the darling of the crowd but of course, we were proud of her. On the other hand, Jizelle did not make it but we knew that she tried her best though she was nervous during the question and answer portion. We were all curious with Mr. JSP 2008 because he did not even make it to the question and answer portion but he won. For the last 6 dances, I was shocked for JC danced me. Well, his mother was glad that she even pictured us. Then Kenneth, my classmate, danced me too and at the end, my best friend Gian, was my last dance. I became happy for he entertained me while we were dancing so that it was not boring. Then, at 10:00 P.M., our JS Prom was finished. We even took pictures at the Gymnasium and at 10:30 PM, we went home. For me, I did not enjoy this compared last year that I really enjoyed the promenade, but still, at least I became happy.

Though I did not really enjoy, I tried to be jolly since this was my last JS Promenade. I even took pictures with my classmates and watched the pageant. Some of the teachers too told me that I was so elegant that night and of course, I was glad and proud of myself. Adios!!

*THRILLING CHALLENGES AS THE SCHOOL YEAR ENDS*

After those sad and happy memories of mine, now another trials for me. I was glad that I was able to solve my problems in the past and overcome all those unforgettable memories. I even asked this to myself, am I ready again??

Our finals were really near approaching and we were very busy again since 3^rd grading was finished already. We had our periodical test on January 30-31, 2008 and I was glad for the results were high. I thought, my agony ended already but still, we had some projects to be finished and should be passed because it was still included in the 3^rd grading especially in Computer we were all worried about our Windows Movie maker. I was so problematic about my project because I did not yet start making my own movie and the deadline was February 7, 2008. I tried to make but I cannot concentrate to do it so I requested Mrs. Vera Cruz if I can barrow her USB so that I can make my movie at home and gave it back to her the following day. When I arrived home, I really sacrificed everything and finish doing my Windows Movie maker. Well, I was glad for I was able to do it and while making my project. I was learning too especially the parts, different functions of the icons, the steps on how to import video, pictures and music as well as putting or applying video effects and transitions style, title and changing the font style, color and animation style of the text. I really enjoyed making my own movie in Windows Movie Maker. As if we were already professionals. I learned also about the movie task pane and contents pane. At first, I couldn’t understand the Windows Movie Maker and how to make a movie but I really concentrated and read more about it. I pay attention during the discussion and so, I was glad for at the end, I was able to make my own movie. Then, another grading again but this was the end already and we should try our best and enjoy every single moment while we were still here. Of course, we have so busy right now in doing our projects, extra curricular activities, discussion of new lessons and for the Juniors Seniors Promenade too. I thought we will not be busy since 4^th grading already but there were so many requirements for each subject to be accomplished. Then last February 2, we had our recollection then in the afternoon I took the entrance test at UNP. Gosh! I was very busy this month then at February 25 and 26, we will have our finals already so I should exert much effort and be patient in everything I do.

Moving on, I will really do my best and strive more since this will be the last grading period for us because we will be graduating already. I will be more patient and diligent in my studies and I will not waste any moment but instead, enjoy it while I am still a high School student. These were really a challenge for me!
